This is the list of several services that we offer to the community, if you have a restlessness or you need something additional that we cannot give
you directly, we can refer you to someone who can help you. Don't be afraid to communicate with us.

We give classes of English as second language (ESL) in two shifts, four days a
week (Monday through Thursday) and Saturday, we apply The Best Test,
approved stately in the Carolinas to test the degree of knowledge with which the
students begin. We have installed in our computers the program Rosetta Stone to
evaluate the advances periodically in our students. Our strength resides in that
our instructors are highly qualified and they speak the Spanish language
perfectly, allowing a better interaction between student and professor.

In our modern computer lab , we teach the students
the necessary tools to operate a Laptop with
emphasis on Internet, Word and Excel, while still
allowing the students to know the top technology in
computers. They learn how to have their own email
address, to make a resume with American format to
obtain a work, etc..

Plaza Comunitaria is an adult basic
education program that allows
participants to advance their education
in their native language.

The program, created by the National
Institute for Adult Education (INEA) in
Mexico, uses Internet technology to
provide basic education modules.

The purpose of Plaza is to bridge the
knowledge gap for students whose first
language is Spanish to prepare them to
obtain their basic education.

Having a foundation in their native
language also gives students the
background/language structure they
need to acquire their second language,
English.

We teach the Money Smart curriculum to help
adults outside the financial mainstream enhance
their money skills and create positive banking
relationships.
The Money Smart curriculum is brought to you by
the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC),
and includes the following courses: Bank On it,
Borrowing Basics, Check it Out, Money Matters, Pay
Yourself first, Keep It Safe, To Your Credit, Charge
It Right, Loan to Own and Your Own Home.

We offer Spanish occupational classes specially designed for nurses, official of
police, firemen and missionaries. This course is completed in Eight (8) hours,
(two hours every Saturday) and it has a fee that includes manual and two (2) CD.
The goal of this course is that English speakers can communicate in their job with
Hispanic people. They learn basic conversations in Spanish that they usually use
in their job, facilitating the communication between both cultures.

We offer services of translations and interpretations for any document. We help
with appointments to the physician, social services also the Medicaid and the
WIC, employment agency, the court or any other place where it is necessary the
attendance of a translator or interpreter.

Constantly we are offering workshops or seminars that help to the international
community in their objective of achieving a better future. The most important
are:

Starting your own business: Because obtaining a job without knowing
how to speak English is very hard. The immigrant seek alternatives that
allows him to subsist, it is common that they open their own business. This
seminar has as objective to inform the interested ones the necessary steps
to mount a business in SC, the legal requirements and the commercial
rules that it is necessary to complete.

Steps to buying their own house: The dream of all immigrants is to buy
their own house, this seminar takes charge of explaining step by step the
planning that should be made for the purchase of a house, without a real
knowledge they can have expensive errors . We have the advice of
Founders Federal Credit Union to inform the possible buyers, the different
alternatives mortgage, as well as different realtors offering a complete
briefcase so that the participants can convert their dream in reality

Colegio de Bachilleres is the largest
public high school system in Mexico
and now offers its high school program
on-line. As a result, program contents
can be studied from any computer with
an internet connection.

This program provides the opportunity
for people who completed the 9th
grade in any Spanish speaking country
to finish their Bachillerato which is the
equivalent for High school..

Additionally, since it is offered on-line,
it improves computer and independent
study skills.
